FLAUNT MAGAZINE (LA)

Los Angeles-based fashion and culture magazine “FLAUNT MAGAZINE” published an article about SHU TO /. The issue was on the theme “IN THE GARDEN”. Yuki and the interviewer Julia Smith talked about the relationship between Japanese unique culture “borrowed scenery” which is Japanese traditional concept thinking a garden as the interior, and the change of spending time at home in the Corona Disaster. In the article, two pieces of works were introduced which are created to deal with "Social distancing”.

ロサンゼルスを拠点とするファッション・カルチャーマガジン『FLAUNT MAGAZINE』に、今号のテーマ「IN THE GARDEN」について、ジュリア・スミスによる SHU TO / のインタビュー記事が掲載された。インタビューでは、庭を内側から捉える「借景」という日本独特の文化と、コロナ禍において変化する自宅での過ごし方との関係性についての話をした。掲載作品は社会的距離をテーマにした2つの家具を紹介。
