SHU TO / STUDIO

SHU TO / studio was renovated. In our design activity, we have been exploring various unique expression and materials. The new studio design was adopted some of them. Unpolished cast aluminium with a rough surface, sparsely spray-painted concrete ceiling, an acrylic table with thoughtful new positioning of legs and top, for instance. The visitors can feel a variety of our ideas.

SHU TO / スタジオを改修。日常のデザイン活動の中で見つけ、思考した表現やユニークな素材を実験的に採用。磨かず荒々しい表情を活かしたアルミの鋳物、殴りつけるように仕上げた樹脂床、まばらに吹き付け塗装を施したコンクリート天井、脚と天板の新たな位置関係を思考したアクリルテーブルなど、様々な実験を感じることのできるスタジオ空間。
