Cosmetics brand Paula Newman Yokohama store. Renovation project for the introduction of the "APEX" skincare brand. The store concept was "Essence & Self Discovery" and the design theme was "Innocence White, Intuitive Straight-Down. One of the design challenges was to realize a personalized photography area for skin analysis in a space with good visibility. The streamlined layout visualized the lines of flow within the store, and at the same time, the use of mirrored surfaces, white, black, and glass pillars to gently divide the space solved this problem. We tried to achieve a balance of materials appropriate for a service image that enhances the future possibilities of the skin, such as by incorporating special glass with a water-like appearance.
